The primary role of Oysters Australia is to coordinate oyster industry research, development, and extension (RD&E) across Australia, and to ensure that usable outputs are provided to oyster businesses.

Calls for priority projects will be advertised below, and extended via the Oysters Australia mailing list. Please make sure you subscribe via the link at the top of the page. Priority oyster projects may also be extended via the FRDC's 'Call for Projects', however this may not always be the case.

The Oysters Australia Research, Development & Extension Committee meet every quarter. Should you have a project which you would like OA to consider for funding, please ensure that you complete an Expression of Interest form, and submit to management@oystersaustralia.org at least three weeks prior to a scheduled RD&E meeting.
